• Explosion protection type pressurized enclosure: makes it possible to operate “non-Ex-approved” devices in hazardous areas of Zone 2 and 22.
• Simple structure: The Ex p-compact system FS840 can be installed flexibly and consists of a purge unit, a valve and an air outlet.
• Automatic purging phase: If the operator cannot ensure that the atmosphere inside the enclosure and the pipe infrastructure is far enough below the explosion limit (25% LEL; EN 60079 – 14 section 13.4), the F840 system allows a purge phase before start-up.
• Gönnheimer offers both ATEX certifications and IECEx certifications for pressurized enclosure systems on the basis of an EU type examination certificate from a notified body.
